Joey W. Hill has done it again by penning a fabulous little novella that tugs at the heartstrings even as it has love scenes hot enough to singe off the undies. Marisa is a smart and sassy witch who I immediately liked with her vulnerability and sense of humor. Conlon, along with his vision and faith, became my favorite character with his dominant yet gentle personality. Threads of Faith is a must-read tale that’ll leave you with a warm feeling in your heart…and somewhere a little further south!

I’m a big Joey W. Hill fan -- I think I’ve mentioned that before. Her stories are often daring and thought-provoking, in addition to being sexy, romantic, and extremely well-written. I love the way Hill reveals clues to the story’s mysteries, bit by bit. It’s the same in all of her stories -- though there is usually some sort of secret or significant back-story, Hill doesn’t rush it. Perfect pacing. She writes hot and sweet like nobody’s business, and she blows me away with her ability to make her heroes (convincingly) super alpha and super sensitive at the same time -- an incredibly difficult task. If you’re looking for a hot, sweet, romantic story, look no further than Threads of Faith.

Threads of Faith was an emotional and touching story about two souls who have been searching for each other even when one of them does not realize that they were searching. I absolutely loved this story and the brief elements of BDSM were just an extra bonus for me! This is another keeper by Joey W. Hill and she has definitely been added to my auto buy list!

Threads of Faith is an imaginative, gentle, erotic love story, about a suitor who seeks out a reclusive witch who mixes love potions. The magic in turn sets the price and conditions for its use - and there’s no telling what it might demand. The story moved steadily along, engrossing me as I was able to imagine the dialog within every paragraph. Ms. Hill conjures up appealing and compelling characters that draw me into the story. Although a virgin, Marisa’s no shrinking violet, as she holds her own against Conlon’s gentle, deliberate wanton advances, and I welcomed the nudge as her defenses slowly give way. Conlon is stalwart but compassionate, when he initiates steamy and alluring sexual foreplay, with a little light spanking; he familiarizes Marisa with his touch and body. The sex is gripping, but ardent. Threads of Faith is an enchanting story that is spellbinding, and well worth the time to read.

Each time I reach for a book by Joey Hill, I bite my lip, hesitate a moment, then simply grab it and sink into the story. Ms. Hill creates gripping books that stretch boundaries and draw readers deep into emotional intensity. Her writing style aims straight for your gut and pulls your insides out; but in a good way, a REALLY good way.

THREADS OF FAITH, a lighter offering by Ms. Hill, is a reprint of one of her earlier books. Though not as intense, it still stands out as a marvelously absorbing story. Marisa’s pain and anguish are a punch to the heart, and I found myself suffering along with her. So additionally, when Conlon entered the picture, I also felt Marisa’s powerful feelings of hope and fear. Conlon has a gentle strength and patience while still maintaining those strong alpha male traits that I yearn for in my books. Erotically speaking, the physical relationship that develops is passionate and arousing. To put it quite simply, keep the ice handy.

I did more than read a good book; I EXPERIENCED it. And I definitely look forward to experiencing more of Ms. Hill’s emotionally engaging stories.

Ms. Hill is fast becoming one of my favorite authors, and this terrific book just adds to the reasons why. Her deft hand at characterization is very impressive. The hot sex scenes also added to my enjoyment of the story. If you enjoy contemporary tales of love and magic, then give this enchanting story a try.

This was the exciting, emotional tale of the finding of destiny, the twists of Fate and the taking of innocence. I enjoyed this book immensely. I read it from front to back in one sitting and didn’t want to put it down. The author creates fascinating characters, a great storyline and draws the reader into both. This was a one-day snapshot into the world of magic, love, longing, and the emotional pain and longing of these two characters. I highly recommend this book.
