Choice of Masters by Joey Hill:

This story is like a seduction; slow, smooth, and its use of sensual images draw the reader in along with Lilith and Thomas. Thomas must break a spell on Lilith, and he uses the velvet-covered steel of his sexuality and Domination to do it. It is not a hard Domination but a slow pushing of her will, and the reader’s, until he has coaxed her mind away from the sorcerer. Well done, it is dreamy and sensual; Ms. Hill has written a winner.

This is a classic Joey W. Hill story, deeply emotional with intense undercurrents of the Wicca faith. Conlon is a truly good man, a warrior in the modern world, while Marissa, who at first seems fragile, has an inner core of strength. Of course, as with any of this author’s Romantica works, the sex is both passionate and moving. Threads of Faith is another winner from Ms. Hill, sure to garner her even more loyal fans.

A Choice of Masters takes the legend of King Arthur to a place I never considered, but was a beautifully told story of true love, magic and strength of the mind over the weakness of the body. Ms. Hill wove a wondrous tale of forgiveness, personal growth, and the strength that only a deep and abiding love can accomplish, while at the same time showing both sides of the degradation and joy human sensuality can cause … I must say that Enchained was a very enlightening book for this reviewer. Enchained gave me much to think about as well as a delightful afternoon’s enjoyment. For those who have never considered bondage as a good read, Enchained is a must read.

This story was the one that was on my mind long after finishing this book. While Lilith’s sexual slavery is deeply depressing and heartbreaking, Thomas unconditional love gives the story hope and warmth. This is a story about growing up and learning from mistakes, the power of love and forgiveness.

CHOICE OF MASTERS is a beautiful story set in the medieval times of castles, lords, and magic. Joey W. Hill has written a fantastic story, which, despite its BDSM content, is the most romantic and touching of this collection.

ENCHAINED is a three-part anthology written by three of the best erotic authors in the business. Each story is a sensual erotic experience that ultimately leads to lasting love. All three heroines are strong and compelling characters who are, in the end, complete and their hearts forever ENCHAINED to their masters. Don’t let the bondage theme in ENCHAINED dissuade you from reading it. All three stories are expertly written, and, in my opinion, none of the content is offensive. If anything, these are the stories that will make anyone a fan of both bondage and these authors.

This was an absolutely riveting story. My first by Joey W. Hill, I was appalled yet spellbound by the sexual slavery that Lilith was forced to endure. Nothing, however, could have prepared me for the intensity and passion of her release. This is a story about loving someone unconditionally and moving heaven and earth to help them. As I followed the story, I became engrossed in Sir Thomas's execution of his plan to free Lilith, a sizzling HOT series of erotic scenes, yet unmistakably showing the love and trust that develops within the D/s relationship, and the difference between a willing submissive and a captive one. A truly tortured young woman, Lilith has hidden behind her anger for so long that trusting anyone is near impossible. The resulting climax of this story absolutely left me breathless and tearful and relieved for this young woman to finally experience the joy of release, and the emotional bond that was denied her for so long. I cannot wait to investigate Ms. Hill's catalog of work. If any are like this story, it will be truly worth the price of admission.

This isn't a typical bdsm story at all. It is, instead, a fragile fantasy with bdsm scenes that are highly erotic and utterly part of the plot-without them, there is no story. Thomas is hardly the "typical" dominant of porn-he craves to liberate a woman, and by enslaving her, set her free. Broken, tormented Lilith must find within herself the belief that she is worthy of his efforts and choose him. Even the villain isn't a cliche, but a good man who has made himself a slave to his need for vengeance, and is thus as much enslaved as his captive. Hill's style is lyrical and sensual, and she displays her usual command of magic and sexuality, mysticism and D/s. A beautiful story that will linger in you mind, long after you finish the last page.
