From time to time, you come across an author who simply gets it. There is no secret ploy, no hidden twist or turn to sell the story. There is just the primal sexual need that is manipulated and fed, leading to a climax (no pun intended) that leaves you breathless. One such author with this talent is the ever memorable Joey W. Hill, and Board Resolution, is a staunch reminder of just how good she is at what she does.
The blurb summarizes what the reader can expect, but as any fan of Ms. Hill knows, the underlying tension and release that accompanies surrender goes so much deeper.
Don’t forget to pencil this one onto your TBR list. Fans of an unforgettable erotic story that provides the emotional impact I’ve come to expect with Joey W. Hill will devour Board Resolution. She’s one of my must read authors for a reason, and this is only one of many works that have taken me on a wild and unforgettable journey I couldn’t shake if I wanted to.

Succumb to the first story in Joey W Hill’s Knights of the Boardroom series in the BDSM classic Board Resolution. Previously published in the Behind the Mask anthology, this highly erotic novella is now a single title, and now has a yummy cover all of its own! With this novella, you begin to see what I feel are elements of any “Joey Hill” book - innovative use of BDSM and deep philosophical introspection into her characters lives, blended within a fast moving, panty-melting plot.
Savannah is a very high-strung woman, molded into a clone of her father. She has a cynical outlook on life, thinking all men just want her for her fortune or bedsport. This closes her off from men’s attentions, especially in the form of one Matthew Kensington. Matt’s loved Savannah ever since he’s met her, and he has quietly bided his time while being her number one protector. But tonight all this is going to change. In order to make Savannah come alive as the sensual creature he knows lies within, he’s going to need a little help from his friends. Enlisting fellow Doms Lucas, John, Ben and Peter, and having them share their unique D/s talents, he comes up with a plan to focus all the pleasure on Savannah, letting her come alive under their very capable hands.
Honestly, who wouldn’t want to be Savannah’s shoes? She becomes the object of total attention from not just one Dom but five! While I don’t want to give anything away if you haven’t read this treasure from Joey Hill, once you start Board Resolution, you won’t be able to put it down. Ms. Hill only whets her fans’ appetites with this oh too short novella, making us wait in eager anticipation for the other men’s stories in her fast start to her Knights of the Boardroom series.

Board Resolution has to be one of the hottest books I have read. It pulls out all the
stops as the men ultimately seduce and take over Savannah, showing her exactly what
her body is made for. You'll find yourself blushing as you read, even when you think you
can't blush any more. This story is scorchingly hot, opening Savannah to sexual
exploration unlike anything I have ever read with the men's desires all focused on one
woman.
I was feeling everything that was being done to Savannah and thinking what it would be
like to have such devotion of the men who pleasure her beyond her wildest dreams.
Frankly it made me squirm in my seat as each man showed her their own special love.
Matthew is one devastatingly handsome and sexually inventive man. The charisma he
has is perfect for seducing his Savannah. This story of Savannah's sexual awakening
just comes to life as you read. I had to read it all the way through it was that exciting.
Don't miss out on a fantastic sexual journey.

Hill's "Board Resolution" is the hypnotically sensual story of Savannah's sexual awakening at the hands of businessman Matthew. Savannah has never known a good time, but Matt and his team of business experts are set to change that in this engrossing BDSM tale of love, boardroom style.
This collection features absorbing tales that are not for the faint of heart. Heated sexual escapades move the stories along nicely while increasing the emotional intimacy between the characters.

This did have a lot of focus on sex and bondage, and yet it gave more emotional depth than a majority of romances I've read, erotic or not. Even when Savannah was enjoying something sexual, things that were about as scorching as it can get (and definitely not something I could read in public and remain unaffected), the author always had a strong emotional element weaved throughout the moment. Little flashbacks and memories came to Savannah while with those men, revealing more about them and her ties to them than I'd have thought possible in a 88-page story. It's not a traditional way to go after an HEA, but the manner in which Matt finally got Savannah to open up to him was not only fitting, but an excellent show of vulnerability on both their parts. After Board Resolution, I'll be looking forward to Ms. Hill's next release.

All three stories in the Behind the Mask anthology involve couples who already know each other, if only of each other. They all involve secret feelings that are finally brought out into the open, but in a devious type of way. Luckily this doesn’t interfere too much with their relationships. I enjoyed all three of the heroines. I found them all to be smart and determined women, willing to go after what they want. I believe that I may have liked Savannah (Board Resolution) a bit more because of her upbringing and the trouble she has getting over the rules her father had set up for her all her life. I also took great pleasure in Matthew (same book) and his men, more because . . . well what woman wouldn’t want four men who took pleasure in bringing her to pleasure time and again! I thoroughly enjoyed all three stories in this anthology and would willingly and enthusiastically recommend the book to everyone!

Then, on Board Resolution: BOARD RESOLUTION is a very hot book with multiple partners… five men to one woman! Whew! This is one hot story filled with plenty of seduction and carnal desires!!

This story was hot, let me tell you. I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. The stories in this anthology were so well written that I loved them all. I am used to reading a book that has more than one story in them, where I like one a lot but the rest are just so/so. Not this one, let me tell you. If you have not read this wonderful book, run, do not walk, to buy it.

Behind the Mask is a great anthology from three of Ellora’s Cave’s premier authors. All three deliver a different story but all are full of interesting characters, wild passionate sex and surprise endings that will steal the breath away from the reader. In Joey W. Hill’s Board Resolutions, one woman finds that giving in to pleasure isn’t a sign of weakness but strength with the right man. Her insightful perceptions in Savannah’s mind were both exciting as well as sensual as Savannah explores her submissive side and gives control for one night to the man of her dreams, Matt. The fireworks fly when Matt assumes control and he isn’t afraid to show his dominance over Savannah. Ms. Hill shows her sensual writing style with this one and it will captivate the reader from the beginning to end. Written in tasteful style rather than vulgar, this is one anthology that will keep any reader hot through the night and day!! Run; don’t walk to get Behind the Mask!!

This is a painfully emotional story that has you squirming in your seat and plunges your mind into turmoil. Joey Hill's books are certainly not the kind to read, enjoy and forget - they grip your body and soul. This is another one that is impossible to put down.

This anthology is filled with exciting characters and wonderful scenes that leave the reader begging for more. Each and every author brought an amazing story to the mix. Congratulations to you all.

The Ellora's Cave anthology, Behind the Mask, is a collection of three stories from some of the best writers of women's romantic BDSM. While Board Resolution is a shocking story, it is a wonderful example of the relationship that can develop in a Dominant and submissive partnership, and how liberating it can be to surrender to another person, especially with someone who loves you passionately…
Behind the Mask is a great anthology for readers who like their romance on the hard side of Ellora's Cave "romantica." My suggestion would be to have a cool drink, or even better, a significant other available when you are done reading this outstanding book. Behind the Mask is an extraordinary read and definitely worth 5 Cups.

Behind the Mask is a deliciously sensual compilation by three extremely talented and creative authors. Each story will titillate your senses and enchant you. I really enjoyed the three different flavors that these three authors put together to make this anthology. If you enjoy stories that capture you with their sensuality and light bondage, then this book is a must read!
