“In the past when I've read an anthology, one story stands out as better than the others. Not in this anthology. All were fabulous to the extreme.”
This was an epic read full of emotion, angst, love, discovery, and self-awareness. I’ve never read an anthology that had so many strong stories. If you do read this anthology, and you should, and have never read any stories by any of these authors, be prepared to want to run out and buy their backlists. These authors are all truly gifted writers and have provided a truly inspired collection of sigh worthy stories.

I loved this book! I know that seems rather simple, but it’s the truth. I just loved this book. Containing four novellas by four amazing authors, Unlaced is a definite keeper and will be a book I go back to on a regular basis to reread.
While each story would stand alone quite well, together they make one delicious read. Each one has common threads that link it to the others: corsets which have such an erotic connotation, and believing in a second chance; at love, at life, at all the possibilities. I was rooting for the HEA in all of them, and wasn’t disappointed.
I was really excited to get a chance to read Controlled Response by Joey W. Hill. Many of you know (as I endlessly expound on how much I love her books) that well… I love her books! The deeper meaning behind the heroine’s use of a corset was so very fascinating, and I had great fun getting to know the hero… not to mention his friends. I loved going along for ride as two very strong-willed people found that they couldn’t live without each other. The serendipity involved in this tale was fun to see, and I look forward to more from “The Board Resolution” boys. Yes, I know, rather cryptic, but read the book… I’m sure you’ll feel the same way too.
From start to finish we are taken through so many different “kinds” of love, but all of them are valid and intense and end in my favorite Happy Ever After. All in all, this was a fabulous read that I wholeheartedly encourage anyone to read… and reread, I certainly will.

Fans of Joey Hill will be highly satisfied with Controlled Response, a wonderful novella about a woman who needs to let go of her tight control in order to be truly free. I waited for Lucas’ story since being intrigued about him from an earlier work of Ms. Hill’s, Board Resolution. Here’s to hoping that we will be gifted with other stories of the diabolically dominant men of K & A soon!

Each of the stories is sexy and sensual and it is delightful to read of characters being seduced in a manner suited to their character and to find their potential mates in life, and to be able to exist and enjoy the delights of their partner. All the stories are well written with chemical reactions that sizzles and burn between the characters.

If you love steamy romance and plenty of action then you have to read this tale. Cassandra and Lucas make a perfect match both in and out of the bedroom. It is an interesting adventure to watch them both discover each other. Joey Hill has a reputation for writing titillating stories that keep readers coming back for more. This is no exception and readers will certainly look for more of her work.
UNLACED includes four incredible stories from four talented authors. These stories will gain them many more fans and impress the old ones.

Popular authors Jaci Burton, Jasmine Haynes, Joey W. Hill, and Denise Rossetti come together to deliver four erotic romances tied together by one common element – each features a corset prominently in the plot.
Individually, each of these stories deserves my top ranking of five bookmarks, and together they make one heart-melting read that is sure to fly off the book shelves as soon as UNLACED releases!
Lord have mercy, what Joey Hill did to me with CONTROLLED RESPONSE!! My own response was anything but controlled under the sensual assault Lucas waged in his bid for Cassandra’s love. This man has more than a few wicked tricks up his sleeve, and it was enough to foster a few new fantasies for this reviewer. *grin*
Ms. Hill mixes things up with a little exhibitionism, a lot of passion and a hefty dose of good old fashioned (sort of) romance. CONTROLLED RESPONSE is a shining example of everything I love about this talented author’s work!

The anthology UNLACED is a real treat! With four perfectly well-written stories it should have something to satisfy almost every taste.
Controlled Response by Joey W. Hill starts off on a physical note and stays sensual and very bodily-focused throughout. The way this story is told, with extra care and wonderful attention to detail, brings it vividly to life. Little touches, like the colored roses and padded vanity chair in the powder room, bring the story off the pages and into the reader's mind.
UNLACED is nothing short of wonderful. Each story was united but quite capable of standing alone, and the different writing styles made reading this anthology a pleasure. Well done!

The authors of these four completely different stories-each with a corset as a major plot point, each one hotter than the last-deliver fine erotic prose that's sure to satisfy. The heroines are believable and easy to identify with, and the heroes mean it when they say "forever." These four authors are erotic muses indeed!

On Joey W. Hill’s Controlled Response… Lucas and Cassandra had me from when they first met. Controlled Response takes you on an erotic journey of discovery and ends up with a loving ending…
Unlaced was almost too hot to be read from start to finish. These stories are smoking hot, but they also have many warm and heart-felt elements that make them much better in my opinion. I suggest a very comfy chair and a glass of your favorite beverage of choice, as you won’t want to put this book down…a must have for your erotic library.
